dead roses in my teeth,
wearing small smiles on my eyesthe sun, was so bright
and the breeze ran close,
dirt and mud caking my feet
bare and pale, like autumn’s moonand the thorns, cut my lips
blood streaking the stubble-
tombstones on
my chin and cheeksla…
